ARCHES, MOAB & CANYON COUNTRY

Sculpted by time,
framed by distance.

Utah’s red-rock landscapes reward both the iconic viewpoint and the unplanned roadside pause. Around Moab, natural arches rise above high desert terrain, while canyon overlooks reveal layers of scale that photographs can barely contain.

Firsthand perspective: every photograph on this page was made during JP’s travels through Utah.

ARCHES NATIONAL PARK · SEPTEMBER 2023

A desert memory,
carved in stone.

September 2023 brought us beneath a brilliant Utah sky, where every turn revealed another impossible shape in the sandstone. From the first park sign to the walk beneath Delicate Arch, the heat, color, and scale of Arches made the day wonderfully unforgettable.

YOUR BASE IN THE DESERT

Begin in Moab.
Leave room to wander.

Moab is a practical base for Arches and the surrounding canyon country. Desert heat, trail conditions, and park access can vary, so confirm current information before setting out and carry more water than you think you need.
